From Detection to Co-Authoring with EARS

QRAcloud v1.0.963 brings enhanced rewrites, portal improvements, and platform upgrades to help teams work faster and smarter.

Even small inefficiencies in requirement authoring, portal usage, or backend performance can slow engineering teams down. This release focuses on improving usability, reliability, and co-authoring capabilities — including the first EARS-compliant rewrite option in the portal — so teams can produce higher-quality requirements with less friction.

Note: This is a QRAcloud-side release and will be automatically updated in your QRAcloud environment.

Smarter EARS Rewrites

Aligning requirements to EARS standards can be tedious and error-prone. In v1.0.963, the QRAcloud portal introduces an EARS rewrite option within ReqWriter, enabling authors to generate structured, compliant suggestions in a single click. Every recommendation stays fully reviewable and editable, helping teams move from an original requirement to a clear, EARS-compliant version without the usual manual rework. Telemetry now tracks the original score and supports exclusion prefixes, giving visibility into improvements while handling edge cases.

Portal Enhancements

Teams need clear information and consistent design to work efficiently. This release brings client info visibility to the CS portal, a reworked rewrite style selection, a new EARS template model, and updated fonts and typography across the portal. These improvements make the interface cleaner, easier to navigate, and better aligned with user workflows.

API & Backend Reliability

Scaling and validation challenges can disrupt workflow and create errors. The API now supports maximum requirements validation to prevent similarity blow-ups and adds QWL v5 and v6 support. On the backend, v1.0.963 includes .NET 10 migration, improved timestamp handling, custom snapshot rules, and longer route timeouts. All updates are designed to improve reliability and performance.

Infrastructure & Security

Modern engineering platforms demand secure, scalable infrastructure. This release adds Let’s Encrypt certificate issuance, Keycloak and ingress improvements, Redis migration, support for external databases, and multiple Azure/Kubernetes hardening updates. Scaling rules have been refined, and gateway secrets plus HTTPS configurations have been tightened, keeping QRAcloud stable, secure, and ready for enterprise workloads.
