- Analysis Accuracy Improvements: Quality analysis is now more precise by excluding phrases within recognized glossary terms from Multiple Imperatives and Excessive Continuances detection, reducing false positives and improving overall assessment accuracy.
- More Reliable Analysis of Pasted Content: Analysis now correctly handles non-breaking spaces, line breaks, tabs, and mixed capitalization commonly introduced when copying text from web pages or external documents, resulting in more consistent quality analysis.
- Enhanced EARS Conformance Checks: EARS analysis has been refined by resolving an incorrect Missing System Name alert, flagging vague subjects such as “the system,” and preventing glossary acronyms from being incorrectly identified as EARS keywords.
- Faster Quality Analysis: Performance improvements make quality analysis approximately 11% faster, providing quicker feedback during requirement authoring.
- Improved Exported Reports: Exported reports now include a complete breakdown of every enabled problem and warning type, providing full visibility into quality analysis results.
- Smarter Report Prioritization: Problem and warning breakdowns in exported reports are now sorted by frequency, with the most common issue types displayed first (ties are sorted alphabetically), making it easier to identify the highest-impact quality issues.
Compatibility Note
QVscribe Office v7.3.0 is fully supported only with QTS v7. While QTS 7.X remains backward-compatible with older QVscribe clients, upgrading to v7 is required to unlock full functionality.
System Requirements: Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Word & Excel 2016 or higher.
QVscribe 7.3.0 includes the most up-to-date version of the log4j library, 2.17.1, which provides the securest version.
