01
Authoring assistance

ReqWriter drafts the fix. QVscribe judges it.

For years, QVscribe showed you what was wrong with a requirement. ReqWriter now drafts the correction, QVscribe re-scores it with no hand in the rewrite, and the engineer decides what stays.

QRA PlatformDec 2025

AI-assisted rewrite suggestions

ReqWriter proposes a clearer version of a requirement that keeps its original intent, aligned with EARS, INCOSE guidance and your organization’s own rules.

Rewrites at any score

Request a rewrite for any requirement, not only low-scoring ones. A suggestion is shown only if it scores at least as well as the original.

Live Quality Tuning

The thresholds that decide when and where ReqWriter offers help are delivered from the QRA Platform. Improvements take effect the next time QVscribe loads, with no reinstall.

Smart Splitting

When a requirement contains more than one imperative, ReqWriter can suggest splitting it into singular statements. Copy each one individually or all at once.

02
Requirements analysis

Sharper EARS checks and a faster engine

EARS (Easy Approach to Requirements Syntax) analysis has been rebuilt to explain precisely what is non-compliant and how to correct it. A major engine update makes every check faster and more accurate.

8 QVscribe
QVscribeJul 2026

Faster, more accurate engine

Quality analysis is approximately 11% faster. Phrases inside recognized glossary terms no longer count toward Multiple Imperatives or Excessive Continuances.

QVscribeJan 2026

Elevated EARS analysis

QVscribe identifies incorrectly written EARS patterns with greater accuracy: duplicate keywords, out-of-order clauses, “if” and “when” conflicts, and non-compliant or negative imperatives. Detected elements appear in the order they occur.

QVscribeJul 2026

Stronger EARS conformance

Vague subjects such as “the system” are flagged, glossary acronyms are no longer mistaken for EARS keywords, and inserted templates use “shall”.

QVscribeJul 2026

Reliable results on pasted text

Analysis handles non-breaking spaces, line breaks, tabs and mixed capitalization common in text copied from web pages and other documents.

Actionable EARS coaching

The coaching view highlights the precise issue in each requirement and gives targeted correction guidance. A dropdown makes it simple to choose and insert EARS templates.

Multi-paragraph exclusions

Supporting content such as rationale or notes can span several paragraphs after a single Exclusion Prefix and still be excluded from analysis.

QVscribe2025

Fewer false positives on “can” and “may”

The Optional Escape Clauses check ignores “can” and “may” when they are used as nouns or pronouns rather than as verbs.

03
Quality over time

Your requirements have a history. The platform keeps it.

A single analysis tells you where a document stands today. The QRA Platform keeps the record over time, so readiness at a review is something you can show rather than assert: what was checked, against which configuration version, and how quality moved between milestones.

Requirement Moments

Snapshots preserve the exact state of each individual requirement, in document order, so teams can trace how a requirement evolved and reference it in reviews and audits.

QRA PlatformSep 2026

Clearer Snapshot messages

If a Snapshot cannot be created, for example because two requirements share an ID, QVscribe names the affected IDs and explains what to do next.
